My Projects
Over the past 14 years, I have helped community organizations, private businesses, and local governments secure funding for vital projects. I have assisted communities with populations as small as 200 to as large as 20,000 people get projects funded. From building waste water sewer plants and levies to restoring historical buildings and recreation trails, I have secured grants for a variety of project types. I have been successful in receiving grants from state, federal, and private funders. I was heavily involved in securing the following grants while serving as the City of Montrose's Grant Coordinator from 2017-2021. This is only a sample of the nearly $10 million in grants I secured on behalf of the City of Montrose.

Maslow Academy
In 2018, Maslow Academy received a $600,000 Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) grant to purchase their Montrose facility, which provides childcare.

Montrose Potato Growers Association Building
In 2021, a $250,000 State Historical Fund (SHF) grant was received to assist with renovations of the 1908 Montrose Potato Growers Building, one of Montrose's most historical and cultural landmarks. The building was completely renovated, and opened its doors in 2024 as "The Association" - a bar, market, and event space.

Uncompahgre River Restoration
Nearly $785,000 was secured for Phase 1 of this project, which focused on restoring a 0.65 mile stretch of the river. Funding was provided by the Colorado Water Conservation Board ($500,000) and Colorado Parks and Wildlife ($284,588) to complete the $1.6 million project. The work included re-channeling the river to a more natural state, stabilizing banks, reconnecting the floodplain, and improving fish habitats.
